Anyone ever try any of the keto/no sugar sauces commercially available? Any decent ones?

The easiest low carb would be a vinegar-based sauce where you substitute the little sugar

I would make one with onions and garlic cooked in olive oil, San marzano tomatoes, some blackstrap molasses, some creole mustard for some heat, a dash of maple syrup for a little different flavor, and a dry rub of your choosing. I might put a little apple cider vinegar, but I think it might start getting a bit too acidic.

The Carolina Heinz bbq sauce is pretty damn good and I imagine low in sugar

Went to a party recently where the host made their own Whole 30/Paleo compliant BBQ sauce and it was incredible.

She sent me the recipe.

North Carolina (vinegar based) or South Carolina (mustard based) would be your best bet. Both of them will use a little brown sugar but not a lot like a Memphis style sauce.

Alabama White Sauce will get you there too. Not v traditional, but it’s a vinegar/mayo/pepper concoction.

Yeah what part of low carb did you not understand? Not to mention this isn’t even a bbq sauce.

What a joke.

Are you that diehard that a lil sauce is gonna mess up your ketosis? Just eat the dam BBQ with easy sauce and enjoy it.

I was picking sugars with fructose instead of sucrose

Tried to be considerate of better sugars while still remaining LOW CARB. as you notice, I did not provide quantities

Also, what about this wouldn't be a BBQ sauce?

If you're going to be a cünt, at least put a bit more effort into it.

Sorry for my harsh tone. I just have no patience for unnecessary pot shots on here.

Hope all is well.

What is unnecessary? Guy asked for a no sugar sauce and you promptly listed one with 2 sugars.

Maybe consider your response prior to posting and you might not be corrected if you were correct.

Sorry for my harsh tone - I just don’t do stupid too well.

Hope all is well.

Other posters have mentioned G Hughes. Thats the best low carb bbq sauce I’ve found as well. Can’t go wrong with that one.

Checkout Walden Farms. Many of their products have surprised the Mrs.(no pics) and me. Stay away from the peanut butter. We use their coffee creamer, salad dressings, and the BBQ sauces. All have been excellent. Rouses usually has a good selection, and so does Walmart. However, if you can't find it at any of your stores, you can order direct online.
