Posted by unclebuck504 on 8/3/19 at 9:53 am10
Thanks for all of the Nashville Recs, guys. I'll let ya'll know where I go.
Just found out that next up is Louisville, KY. Need any and all recs, as meals will be reimbursed by the client.

I’ve had good meals at Le Relais, Jack Fry’s and Jeff Ruby’s.

Butchertown Grocery, Bob's Steakhouse, Jeff Ruby's, Seviche, The Post, Holy Grale, Ward 426, and Proof on Main are all great.

I just got from there a few weeks ago. Above is my review of a few places.
I would second Butchertown Grocery. But make sure you get reservations. Try one of the pastas and you will not be disappointed. Also, if you have time to grab a drink at Hell or High Water.

Jack Fry’s is a good spot for a upscale dinner.
Porcini’s is okay.
Mark’s Feed Store and Feast BBQ are the better BBQ places.
Let me know when you are in town and we can grab a drink.
ETA: Hammerhead’s is a good spot as well.
Not sure your timeframe or where you are staying but you can walk over the Big Four bridge and grab a drink in Indiana.

My favorite place in Louisville is called Game. They serve unique game such as kangaroo, ostrich, alligator, etc.

what kind of food do you want?
Butchertown Grocery is the best restaurant in the city.
Harvest has a great brunch.
Feast BBQ in NuLU for BBQ
Royal's Hot Chicken in Nulu for casual spot
Sidebar casual eats and drinks
Milkwood is an edward lee joint downtown.
Jack Fry's is pretty good. It's old school. They aren't reinventing the wheel or anything, though.
pizza scene is actually pretty solid.
Pizza Lupo for neopolitan style
Butchertown Pizza hall big NY style
Impellizerri's no frills
