Roasted Red Bell pepper soup when available. The Tuna special is also my go to.

Legitimately my two favorite things, and I love their entrees too. The salads that come with every meal are just perfect... and ice cold.

I have a gift card, now that I think about it..

The daily special with the fried soft shell crawfish and fried artichokes.

I also enjoy the daily tuna special with the "pina colada" sauce. I forget what's actually in the sauce but I think it pineapple, coconut, rum and butter.

Best restaurant in town. Don’t know why people go anywhere else for seafood. Jubans, Manseur’s, Ruffinos, Roberto’s etc are fine but take a back seat to LL.

I like LL a whole lot and have a reservation for this weekend, even. But all of their "fresh fish" offerings across the menu are drum every time I've gone.

Mansur's has Ora King Salmon, Triple Tail, Tile (sometimes), Redfish, Mahi Mahi, Swordfish, and often 1-2 others every single night of the week depending what they're rotating at the time.

They just don't have 10 different preparations of those fish like LL does. Both have their pros and cons IMO.

My favorite is the fish with the fried soft shell crawfish and fried artichoke.

Unlike other posters I would not recommend the crab meat for one reason. It says lump, but it is not. It’s white, but not lump.

Different offerings are interesting and intriguing, but can be inconsistent.
What sets LL (and Ruth’s Chris) apart from every other restaurant in BR is consistency. Every time I go there, I know my drum dish is going to be executed flawlessly. It’s been that way for years, and I haven’t seen a drop off from that with the new ownership (thank goodness).

Agree to disagree, I guess. Mansur's has not ever been inconsistent for me. I go twice monthly, and it is great every time.

Not saying LL has been for you, but I don't know why one has to be disparaged for the other.

Same here. Mansurs, Jubans and LL, are three of the best in town, that prides themselves on being consistent, with their foods!
