Will be going to Disneyland in November and will have a day or two in Los Angeles, so was looking for any recommendations in LA. Will be my wife and I, our daughter, and in-laws so not really looking for anything way off the wall. Just a casual in and out (not the burger place) sort of meal. "Fast casual" restaurants I guess?

Joan's on Third is awesome fast casual food, but Los Angeles is quite large so part of town is a consideration. There are two locations though, so you may be able to swing it.

Joan's on Third

My friends that live there love Porto's, but I've never been.

Rubio's Coastal Grill. It's a west coast chain but the best fish tacos IMHO. Get the refried beans too.

The Strand House on Manhattan Beach - great food and a fantastic view of the sunset.

We stopped at a place called El Torito after our Disneyland day and it was great, it was just a few miles from the park.

You need to clarify in LA where you'll be as the LA metro is very, very wide and traffic makes the area seem even larger.

You should check out the Tam O'Shanter in the Los Feliz area. Old line place, specializing in prime rib. Walt Disney and his crew used to hang there.

Some other thoughts:
The Greyhound in the Highland Park area. A bit of a dive but the world's best chicken wings.
Smitty's in Pasadena, a reliable mid-priced (well, for Los Angeles) steakhouse.
Bludso's BBQ in mid-Wilshire. Best BBQ in town.
