Looking for an online join club where monthly shipments of say 4-6 bottles a month. I'm not much of a wine snob by any stretch so i hardly notice differences sometimes but don't mind spending for moderate type quality.

I found sommselect that has a 6 red wine club for $220 + taxes a month. Maybe a little on the higher end price wise of what i'm looking for but honestly i have no idea as to the value of what they will be shipping me in that deal.

We use Naked Wines.

There are various subscription amounts, so you can choose to pay more or less a month, depending on how often you plan on buying. We buy by the case, so I'm not sure if there are other options. You can choose between red and white, or a mix, and if there is a wine or vineyard you like, you can request it. They do generally focus on smaller wineries, though, so they may or may not have the wine you request available.

You can stop payments at any time for any period of time without losing your membership...if you don't need wine for awhile, you can continue to pay monthly and accrue more money in your account, or you can stop paying for a few months until you're ready to buy more wine.

We've used it for several years and really enjoy it.

Not necessarily a club, but I love Reverse Wine Snob. They send you different selections every couple of weeks and the particular selection is available for only 2 days. If you like what is being offered then you can order it. Usually packs of 3-4 and shipping is a flat $6.99.

They usually have some really interesting blends and different grape varietals than you normally see, in addition to the more mundane.

A few years ago we used Back Room wines. It’s basically a boutique wine shop in Napa Valley that allows you to customize your selection.

I'm looking for a red wine club that can ship me a Franzia box every 3 days or so. How's that for wine snob?

Agree WSJ Wine club is very good. I get it and it is always a nice variety of different types of red grapes and regions, including some pretty obscure stuff every so often. I also love Last Bottle. They mostly sell reds and often have a mixed case for a great price and variety.

I love Last Bottle. Beware ordering during the summer. Shipping can cause exposure to extreme heat/humidity.
