Anyone with connections know why i cant find Sierra Nevada beer in Baton Rouge anymore?

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is the benchmark by which I judge all other beers. It's amazingly perfect.

They are pushing their hazy ipa, which I don't care for, but has apparently become their #1 seller. So they are producing more of that than the SNPA.

Palate Wrecker by Green Flash and Ruination from Stone are both my all time favorites for west coast IPAs.

We have much better local west coast ipa's like Hoppenheimer and Succession Plan from Manhattan Project and Rev Green from Turning Point. But I think SNPA is a great west coast ipa. Torpedo is way too malty but maybe I haven't had it fresh. And thats a problem with SNPA, I can find it easy enough but its usually 4-5 months old.

No downvote from me. I used to drink those when they were on the shelf here. Strong and bitter hops though that isn't for everybody, which is why many don't like them.

I have a few beers that are very memorable due to taste or occasion/events when i had them. Fresh SNPA at the brewery in Asheville was one of those beers. So much grapefruit, which i love in a west coast. Once it hits bottles, it seems that it loses some of that grapefruit aroma.
