Stockyard Cafe has it on Wednesdays and I think Piccadilly has it as well. Stockyard's is delicious like everything else there.

I've had it at Frank's before on their lunch special. The old Frank's by Cortana.

My all time favorite comfort food. Never had any in Baton Rouge that could measure up to Moms but travel to Opelousas and try ThePalace cafe. I've also recommend it at Evangline Downs buffet.

I'm not being pretentious,
But get out your cast iron skillet and do this yourself.
It's just one of those things, like cornbeef hash, or 'stew' or whatever, where if you like it, learn to do it.

Ask any of the old timers in your family on how to do it. You'll love the opportunity to work on something you like and you'll eventually perfect it.

Piccadilly serves it if I’m not mistaken.

This. It's so easy to make at home and a very cost effective dish. Dredge the liver in flour, add a splash of oil into a hot pan and sear fairly quickly on both sides. Don't cook it beyond medium unless you want leather. Sauteing or caramelizing onions is very easy too. Open up a can of corn, and voila.

I opt for calves liver before beef because I like the texture better. Most come in packs of four slices, but Rouses has some that are individually wrapped, so if I only want two, I can keep the other two frozen.

This used to be the answer. It was probably the best I'd ever had but it's gone to shite over the past few years ever since the old people that owned it sold it.
