What are the best places to get live crawfish in BR, and what are the prices looking like right now?

Thanks in advance

Buddy of mine is releasing The Crawfish App this Saturday on iOS and android. Free app with about 200 vendors with prices live and boiled. It will also have user reviews and you'll be able to sort by price and proximity.

Areas include BR and surrounding areas, New Orleans, Houma/Thib, Lafayette etc and prices will be updated weekly.

ETA: he's also encouraging users to submit any vendors not included and they will add them to the database

I set up a website similar to this last season. It got a ton of traffic but it was a shitload of work that I never expected. It was a pain trying to get vendors to update their prices even though it would benefit them by doing so. I had to literally call hundreds of vendors each week. After last season I decided it wasn't worth it. But if someone had more spare time and a better technical background than I did, they could certainly be successful. There's definitely a market for it.

Good luck to your buddy. Hopefully he has more success than I did

Now's your chance. Download the app on Saturday and submit whichever vendor(s) you'd like to see on there.

not live, but LA Lobsters, just south of the bridge on the westside, in front of Wal-Mart, put on Facebook they are doing boiled crawfish for $0.99 per pound this Thursday.

Do you want to share this hookup or is this just a subtle brag?

It's going to remain a brag until about April or May
