So you’re another in a long line of try hard boomers that likes to pretend their experiences give them justification to act condescendingly towards others.

Nobody gives a shite.

We like cigars. We like talking to each other about our cigars. It sounds like the problem you actually have is no one wants to talk to you about anything.

(No offense meant to other boomers here. He gives you all a bad rep)

Just returning the love and breaking balls. All factual info though. Dad used to bring back Cubans from Canada and Mexico. He quit smoking and did’t partake of the cigars. Wasn’t a big deal. I crusade against smoking to some extent due to the damages it can cause. Neither dipped. Occasional smokers and Cigar smokers. Oncologist told both, alcohol combined with tobacco makes it much more likely to get a cancer from use. So, carry on friends. Hopefully it won’t get you.

I know oncologists who drink and smoke cigars. Just maybe there’s more to this story than you’re letting on to

No clue what that’s supposed to mean, but ok. I know a bunch of doctor’s who smoke too. Doesn’t mean they aren’t risking cancer. Are you implying smoking can’t cause cancer? Just because a doctor does it, doesn’t mean it can’t harm you. Both persons I mentioned were high risk smokers of cigarette’s and cigars and also drank alcohol regularly when smoking. Just relaying what their doctors said and common knowledge. No great conspiracy here. Not much else “to the story” here.

And you sound like a typical Tide Pod eating millennial that doesn’t get it, but ok. You do you. Grow up. Anyone who uses the term “boomer” obviously has little dude issues.

Family history? Diet? You don’t know if the cigars caused cancer as you said they smoked cigarettes as well.

Just bow out of this thread, dude. We’re all successful people smoking primo smokes and sharing those experiences with like minded individuals. We can make informed decisions on our own.

If you’re offended by the term boomer, it was meant for you.

And there you have it.

common knowledge

Equating chemically laced cigarettes with natural, pure tobacco is common misinformation, not knowledge. But you keep hopping along on that high horse of yours and hope he doesn’t buck you off.

You can leave now, Dr. Fauci. This isn’t the board or thread for this kind of low brow trolling.

Says the guy that came into a thread for cigar smokers to tell us we’re all going to die horrible deaths from cancer

Your virtue is noted, sir.

Nothing wrong with smoking cigarettes here and there. It’s the people that are puffing pack a day or more that’s a high risk. Not the person that has a pack of cigarettes last over a month.

Anything not done in moderation has the potential to be damaging to your health.

I leave that choice to the individual, and don’t think my opinion is so important and unique that I should attempt to derail a thread over it.

*disclaimer - these numbers are completely fictional. This is the way cancer works as explained to me by a cancer researcher.

Let's say there's a 1 in 1000 chance that any given cigar will be the one to give you mouth cancer.

Now, let's say you increase those odds by genetics and drinking. Now a cigar has a 1 in 500 chance of giving you mouth cancer.

Every time you light up a cigar, you're rolling that 500 sided dice.

If you don't smoke cigars, you don't even roll that dice. Your chances of getting oral cancer from smoking cigars is zero.

If you do smoke, your chances are 1 in 500 for each cigar you smoke. You could get cancer from the first cigar, the 10,000th cigar, or never.

Every one of us knows we shouldn't even roll the dice. But for some of us, the reward outweighs the risk.

I'm betting there's a good chance Bit and zippy drink alcohol, but they don't want to acknowledge their increased liver disease risk by drinking.

Moderation is key. And at the end of the day, life is a risk and we only get one. I'm going to enjoy it.

While we all appreciate you Karen-ing this thread, maybe this topic isn't for you? As adults, i think we all understand the risks of smoking/drinking. If you don't like it, then don't do it. But i've never seen someone go as far as voluntarily entering the food and DRINK board, then clicking on a "Let's talk CIGARS" thread to tell everyone, smoking and drinking is bad.

So maybe, put back on your 3rd mask, and let the rest of us live our lives???

Not seen much of that Rocky LB1.

Is that capa from Ecuador a CT Broadleaf? It's much too dark and toothy for a shade-grown.
