I got a real nice piece of salmon from LSUintheNW. I wanted to do it justice, so I decided to grill it on a cedar plank.

I put Nantucket Rosemary and Citrus Rub, lemon slices, Fresh dill, and cracked pepper.

I soaked the cedar plank for 90 minutes and put it on the grill - direct heat at 350 degrees.

After about 5 minutes, it started to pop, and crackle. I flipped it at that point, as it was slightly charred.

I had a fine adult beverage while waiting...

I put the salmon on the charred side of the plank.

I cooked it at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

I took it off at just the right time. Right before I served it...

Moist and delicious.

Looks fantastic! The spices, herbs and citrus you used make it sound delicious, as well.

Looks tasty.

Sadly I don't have any taste software on my machine.

Because I would love a bite.

I remember the first time I tasted real, fresh salmon. It was eye opening.

It's a shame how hard it is to get quality salmon down here.
