Going to check this out for the first time…

Any suggestions on what to get.. I like anything but mushrooms for the part.

Looking for more authentic Chinese, not what I can get anywhere. Thanks!

Pineapple Cashew Fried Rice(choose protein)
Salt & Pepper Prawns
Beef or Lamb Cumin Sauce
Peking Duck
Pan Fried Scallion Cakes
Dan Dan Noodle
Wontons in Chili Oil
Schezuan Chicken
Spicy Diced Chicken
Hot Pot Fish

I enjoy Lee's Fusion consistency from dish to dish more so than Asian Seafood House, whom I find great variance from dish to dish quality. I find ASH Dim Sum to be greatly mediocre, though they nail their Yang Chow Fried Rice, Basil Beef,etc..house staples.

I need to do a deeper dive of both Lee's and ASH hot pot menus.

Lee's is always great. Your first trip won't be your last.
Once you start going on a regular basis, you'll get to sample a variety of options from their menu.

Spicy diced chicken
Cumin chicken
Dan Dan noodles
Garlic sauce eggplant
Hot pot beef
Scallion pancakes

Or just ask. They’ll steer you towards interesting things. Much of the menu is a picture menu

There are oriental folks in New Orleans who will make the drive just to eat here regularly. They say it is the most authentic they have found.

Damn food looks good.

Would have to go in a crowd of 3-4 minimum to order a variety of plates.

Any recommendations on an individual plate that I can get just for myself during lunch?

You can maybe do a mao beef /hot pot type dish or Cumin Chicken is a nice complete dish with meat and veg.

I prefer to go with my wife and kids just so we get to split 4 dishes. It’s even tricky with just me and my wife.

Apps
- Pan fried dumplings
- Pan fried scallion cakes
- Crab angels

Main
- General Tso Shrimp with sauce on side to dip. Keeps from getting soggy
- Creamy walnut shrimp
- Sesame chicken
- Bell chicken
- Mongolian Beef
- Black pepper beef
- Fried rice is pretty good
- Chinese donuts always come out fresh and hot

You can ask for no mushrooms if dish has them. I'll always sub out anything with mushrooms in it for broccoli.

I've tried the hotpot before, was not crazy about it at all. If spicy had an exact flavor, that would be it. Couldn't taste any of the actual food.

The garlic eggplant on the lunch menu is delicious. I like to do many dishes with family/friends for dinner since it is served family style. Lunch menu has individual plates.

Fatty beef soup off the back menu that’s written in Chinese. Use google translate camera to translate. Chili oil wontons or dumplings made extra hot.

Finally made it over today for lunch…. Just me so couldn’t try a lot.

Lunch specials are $12-15- get entree, rice, soup, and 2 crab/cream cheese wontons that are pretty standard at most Chinese places.

Hot and sour soup- pretty good, more spicy than at most places. Doesn’t touch the one at Yee Chinese in Slidell, however.

Fried rice - good. Not the yellow/ orangish you see alot.

Beef scallion - flank steak in an oyster sauce (similiar to a thin brown gravy) with onions, green onions, and some 2 of red pepper (bell pepper?).!it was very good

I’ll be back
