I find every single one I've had aged in wine barrels disgusting.

RR10 is very mellow and subdued. Wild Turkey 101 is better for much less.

Liked Jeffers Creek
Disliked some Texas bottle, I've tried a few and haven't found any that I've liked, about to give up.

We had a bottle of stranahan’s (Colorado) during the super bowl that was smooth. I’m not connoisseur so I can’t give too much detail.

I was surprised by Rebel Yell. Enjoyed it, especially at the price.

Agree. It's got a bit of a bite, but for under $20 for a 750 it's pretty good.

I will add Watkins to my recent like list. Also very inexpensive.

This stuff is good. And its like $15 cheaper if you buy it at the distillery. But they arent making anymore so when its gone, its gone. Stock up!

Tomitoul, Dalmore, Glenrothes and Mcallan have always been underwhelming scotches for me.
