I always laughed when my girlfriend would say I'm just going to get the plantation salad. That thing was a monster.

If they told you it was going to take an hour upfront and the restaurant wasn't near full then I see it as a ploy for them get you to order more alcohol to help offset the discount on the oysters

That's a bold strategy considering plenty of people would leave after hearing that

Went last week. I will say the food itself was very good. Blackened shrimp was well seasoned. Blue cheese hamburger was delicious and had quality blue cheese and bacon. Kids chicken tenders were enormous and could have fed at least 3 kids.
Otherwise, it was a very light crowd for 6:30 on a weeknight and the service and food was still slow. Felt like prices were on the higher side as well but nothing crazy. Just not some where I could take the family of 4 regularly and pay $50- 60.

Looks like this place shut the doors a few weeks ago. Didnt even make it a year.

Anybody else noticed that?

Lasseigne's American Grill

November 25 ·

I hope everyone had a successful Thanksgiving Holiday. I am very Thankful to have had the last 10 months, to get to know so many wonderful people.

It is with great sadness and a broken heart that I am announcing the closure of Lasseigne's. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, we will not be reopening.

Again, thank you to all of my staff and supportive guests that have come in and said amazing things about us.

Please, have a safe and happy Holiday season, keep all of us in your prayers, as you will be in mine.

Wow, really? Went the night before Bama game and while the food itself was okay, the place was strange.

Two druggie looking men at the table next to us stood up and tried to fight one another about money one owed the other. They left, and then the woman at the table behind me asked the waitress if the potatoes were boxed/instant. When the waitress said no and that they're homemade, the woman said then she doesn't want them.
