Lakeview is in desperate need of some good sushi, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed too!

Yeah. Really you have to go to either Wasabi, Shogun, or Good Time Sushi depending on where you are in Lakeview

It looked pretty packed tonight too, but it's new and a Staurday night.

I went a few days back. It was excellent. I wish I could remember the names of the rolls I got but I just remember they were all Lakeview themed rolls. I think one i had was called the Harrison Roll.

I just got back from attempting to eat lunch there. We got there around 1215 and were seated very quickly. Place was crowded, but had a few tables still open. We ordered immediately, nothing fancy - three roll combo lunch special, chirashi lunch special , spicy tuna roll and kids chicken. We got the soup and salads after 20 minutes from the time we placed the order, then the kids chicken came right after that. We waited in total from ordering about 45 minutes until we asked the waitress to just box our food to go. She brings the check and I pay , the owner picks up the plates, looks at the bill and i know she realizes we didn't get our food, but didn't say a word. Waitress brings to go order, i walk to the front and notice the chirashi lunch isn't in there, after asking her, wait another 5 minutes, waitress apologizes again. Once home and eaten, the food was Ok. Way to many Ok places to put up with what we put up with without a word from the owner. I realize they just opened, but, i will never give that place my money again. Way too many other good sushi places that have prompt service. Sucks because I wanted this place to work so well because it is close to my house.

I will definitely give the place a try in the near future. Given the popularity of Sake Cafe, I usually question people's opinions on sushi.
