I keep hearing rumors of New Belgium coming this way... but nothing substantial.

They just started operations on a new canning line that will increase production there, and allow for tallboys. But no word on whether Louisiana will start getting New Belgium. We probably wouldn't get the beers I want from them anyway, though.

It can only be a matter of time. They're huge.

Agreed. Here's hoping when they do come here that they bring the Lips Of Faith with them.

If they can't bring that then they should just keep out...It sounds harsh but there would be a lot of angry people. I wonder what their track record is with that kind of stuff.

see, i find this frustrating. in TX, i have access to the New Belgian basic line but the local stores rarely, if ever, get the specialty stuff. the Explorer series, yes, but i've yet to see the Lips of Faith series. and the specialty stuff is really the only thing I find interesting at NB. but i don't know if it is a NB issue or the local distributors. i should probably ask next time i'm at the package store.

That's the kind of info I was looking for.

If they're not getting LOF out effectively in Texas we wont see that stuff for a very long time I'd think.

Well maybe the Pub would get ahold of it.

Yeah, I could see that being a big market only beer.
But call your distributor up and ask them about it. They may be able to help you out.

i wish we got some of my favorite humboldt brews. we get eel river, but i wish we (or texas) got lost coast, especially the downtown brown and 8 ball stout, or my favorite brewery from up their mad river which makes a double ipa, a extra pale, a red ipa and a bunch of other good beers.

I would imagine the Lips of Faith beers would be available at places with decent beer selections. At least that's how it was around Atlanta.
