Girlfriend (no pics) and I are looking for some date night recommendations in the Lafayette area. Not looking to get too dressed up so somewhere fairly casual. I've recently been to Pamplona (excellent) and Bon Temps (also enjoyed) so something other than those two.

Do I participate in the show or just watch?

What exactly does this mean in the context of going out to eat in Lafayette? Are you not wanting to put on your dressy jeans?

Try Cafe Bella in the oil center. Or Nash's in Broussard.

That's up to you, but I recommend checking knuckles first.

I don't really know since I'm not too up to date on the Lafayette dining scene.

Most place don't require you to wear your show britches.

If you're looking for "white tablecloth" these are your answer.

Marcello's also has fantastic food, but the first two are my and my wife's favorite.
