Nothing like coming home to a freezer door open and meat defrosting. Sacrificing 9 racks of ribs for the baws at work. Also the first time getting to load up the smoker since I added a winch to the trailer.

Happy Labor Day for to everyone, and hopefully you guys working are eating as good as we are.

Very nice of you to cook for the guys at work. That being said, I would look at investing in a chamber vacuum sealer and keeping more of that to myself.

I would have loved to have kept it, these are all Duroc/heritage breed pork ribs so not cheap at all. But they were fully defrosted so I thought better safe than sorry. Plus it allowed me to make room for briskets and pork butts while they are on sale.

Gotcha, I would have done that but having to work a 7 day stretch so I thought they may go bad before I got to cook them. I owed the guys at work after helping out with the loss of our son.

I was not aware of this. I am so sorry to hear about this. Prayers sent, even if a little late.

Been making my own American cheese for burgers, decided to play with that recipe for some Mac&cheese because of the creaminess. Think I'll definitely stick with that method instead ofaking a roux from now on.

Holy hell. I’m starving and that looks incredible. Damn. That’s it. Doing ribs this weekend.

Also, echo Jax. Incredibly sorry for your terrible loss and will be thinking of you and your family today.

A few places around BR have baby backs on sale. Alexander's is one. We appreciate the prayers.
