Took the missus there for our anniversary tonight. Great meal. Sophisticated but casual atmosphere. Dude loves cooking all variety of dead animals and is unapologetic about it. They gave us complimentary champagne and a dessert. Highly recommend.

Have never had a bad meal there.

Also, someone said Balise is closing. Sucks to hear.

Love his rabbit. Did he have any lamb dishes?

It is an excellent representation of fine NOLA cuisine.

He had a lamb confit that my wife ordered. I had the duck. She didn't love the seasoning on the lamb, so we swapped mid-meal. The lamb was great. Huge portion, and it just fell apart with the fork.
