If it isn't per capita that is actually pretty damn crazy considering our relative population. We don't have any actual big cities

Well both sides of my family are Creoles from Gentilly. But it is a running joke in our family (like all Creole families) as well...

Yea....Ol' Jean Baptiste Rougot was born in NOLA in 1738 and his father was from France. But he married a Trahan who's mother was from Acadia, Nova Scotia and they ended up in Opelousas. So I accept the coonass classification. My mawmaw told everybody she was french.

It's dat not so friendly small-business environment.

The BMC types and the oligopoly of distributors have the politicians in their pocket and do all they can to discourage competition. It's sad and disgusting.

Coonass is a term for bayou Cajun. Prairie Cajuns are just 'cajun'
