Just ask them to do what you want. I don’t know about one display from different places though.

He should have planned this more than a month in advance. Unless he planned on building his own from the ones you described. In which case

Cannata’s Supermarket in Houma will make any color King Cake year round and ship to you. Pretty sure their stuff is online. I know they produce a quality King Cake.

The colors of the sugar at each bakery could vary drastically. I would order it from one bakery. Haydel’s did a Mardi Gras tiered king cake for a function I attended recently. It was 4 tiers of king cake with those little columns and all stacked up.

think of it like this, a Haydel large on the bottom, then a Randazzo, then a Caluda, then a Sucre...the caterers of the reception will handle the assembly...

This is begging for a disaster, just get one bakery to make it.

The colors nor cakes will ever match and any hiccup by one fricks the whole deal.

Try Debbie Does Doberge. They have an incredible doberge king cake and can do multi colored frostings in between the layers.

maybe its best to just get them plain with no icing, then get food coloring and add the vanilla icing yourself. its so super easy to make even a child can do it so you dont need a baker for that part.

lots of places use raw sugar which can be a problem for people with dentures and also some people just hate raw sugar king cakes and prefer regular colored icing only.

you also need to confirm the baby isnt there so no one chokes AND find out if they want king cakes with or without filling and what type and flavor filling.

to be honest, king cakes vs wedding cakes are dirt cheap so why not just get a stack of plains and a stack of filled ones so everyone has their favorites?
