My nephew is getting married in Hattiesburg next month. He wants to have a layered king cake for his groom's cake...

think of it like this, a Haydel large on the bottom, then a Randazzo, then a Caluda, then a Sucre...the caterers of the reception will handle the assembly...

simple enough, check? well the issue is that he and his bride to be (absolutely, positively, no pics) went to that educational institution in Oxford, MS...so he wants blue and red icing...(sacrilege I know, but he's really good people and she's an absolute sweetheart)...

if you go to each bakery and put in a custom order, is such a thing possible with a non-traditional icing?

I don't know, I would call the bakery and ask them.

If they don't want to make your blue and red king cake, just take them to court. I hear judges love screwing over bakeries.

Serous answer: Money talks man. It's just a dye in the icing. Call the baker and get a quote.

It’s perfectly fine to adapt and bastardize the colors at a whim. Purple, green, and gold have their particular meaning. I’m sure a blue and red have their own meaning like cheating and failure.

Is it a dry baptist wedding?

If the bakery doesn’t do it, they must hate him because he’s gay.

Attended my first last weekend, IN STARKVILLE. Would rather have bamboo shoots shoved under my fingernails.

Just tell them you’re a homo and by law they will have to make it.

I don't understand why people on here struggle with dumbass decisions like this... My first thought would be to go talk to the bakery, not go post on tigerdroppings.

That wouldn't even cross my mind. I don't understand how some of you function on a day to day basis if you struggle with decision like this.

The only fitting color scheme for this idea is rainbow.
