Get the tomato soup mixed half with their cream of artichoke soup. Tones down the spice and makes it creamy.

So...

Here's story: Dave held employee meeting today and informed them he is trying to sell.

New owners want to keep concept, but need to revamp building. Probably closed for month, and they want to keep employees (not gonna happen with all. Some going to get let go or quit.)

If the sell doesn't go through, it is closed for good January 1st.

Seems like with this info out there, it will certainly close since potential new owners could have the space for nothing.

Man, this is just depressing. One of my favorite restaurants in BR. I hope it can remain Chelseas or at least something similar if they keep the concept but like someone said, with this info out there what reason do they have to even buy? The space will be available Jan 1st regardless, no need to buy anything from the owner.

They were closed for a month, around this time last year, for renovations. I really hope they don't close it. It's weird that these older business are closing when that area seems to be doing better and better. Zeezees first, now Chelsea's...Duvics next??

He's involved in that new beer garden on Government right? And how is that coming?

Also who owns that building where Chelsea's is?

I get why ZZ's closed. That place just refused to change which is why it's customers loved it.

I love the bar but I hate smelling like an ashtray for three weeks

I gave you an upvote just because you have 9 downvotes.

I've never been so not commenting on the place. But evidently not enough people liked it to keep it going.

There is no way they didn't make money. The place always has a good crowd. Seems like the mgmt has to many new things going. I'd tell him bird in hand kinda of thing
