Why the heck did it take this long??? What a fun way to cook. We made steak hash with steak bites, simply potatoes, and guidry's fixins.

Also warming up day-old jambalaya is a great way to crisp it up.

Chicken thighs (bone out, skin on) turn out perfect.

great for cooking breakfast. Can cook eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes all at the same time.

Also great for philly cheesesteak.

a few here have pretty good advice on fried rice.

Is that supposed to be difficult?

Blackstone has lots of griddle styles to choose from, but they all have one thing in common: a flat-top made from cold-rolled steel, an ideal material for even heat distribution and controlled cooking across the entire surface.

I told my dad the same. Holidays and summer we have 12-ish adults around at the camp or their place in Arizona. Would be a great way to knock out breakfast and lunch in 20 minutes for all, without doing much in the actual kitchen.

Did you get the black or were you able to locate the all stainless? I want one but have been waiting for the stainless model availability to return. Hope is diminishing.

Even if the grill is rolled steel you treat it the same as cast iron; according to Blackstone's website.

The Blackstone grill I had was a nightmare to keep clean. I would clean it after using it and wipe it down with oil. I kept it covered. And it still always had a lot of rust on it whenever I uncovered it. It was like the seasoning never set it. I have several cast iron skillets and Dutch ovens. No issues with them.

It was fun to cook on, but I would never own one again.

I have mine in a covered outdoor kitchen (no grill cover) and while I agree that keeping it clean takes some effort I don't find it to be any more difficult than my grill or smoker.

I don't live in quite as wet or humid of an environment as LA though.
