Portico is probably the busiest place in monroe. The food aint the best, but its the place to be. Coda opened up at the foot of the endum bridge. 2 restaurants, one downstairs and one upstairs. Lot of specials and a lot of people. Bands on the weekends.

Am I the only one who also remember Toto's (over where the daquri hut is now at 165/Desiard intersection) that was across from the plam reader?

Does NO ONE REMEMBER TEN CENT BURGER DAY at Toto's??? Those were some amazing flame broiled burgers.

Cmon! They wrapped the burgers in little red/white striped packaging.

Did you follow our N.La appredciation thread on the OT? There were 3 or 4 pages dedicatd to Twin City Mall memories.

What was the name of the nick-nack store just past Tonga before the courtyard that had the 45-degree entrance? It was later "cajun golf" or something.

And what was next to Oooh and Aah? Was it Dingo boots? And what was between Musicland and the doors that opened out to the Plaza theater?

I forgot about the M&L grill..good food.

..and of course Danvers on Louisville just past Twin City Glass..

I remember when Howard Bros was Gibsons...
