Yea, now that you mention it. Also overdo it on the mayo too

It's 5.50 for one of their bigger sized sandwiches. You poor?
Why are y'all complaining about toppings when you can customize it exactly how you like?

This.
I stopped one day and got a Turkey with avocado and sprouts and it was like $5.15 for a decent sized sandwich.

Jimmy Johns makes the worst, absolutely the worst mass produced sandwich in America. Subway, Blimpie, Jason's Deli, Macalister's, etc. are all much better. I've tried Jimmy Johns twice and both times been disappointed beyond belief. The bread is tasteless and so dry it hurts to chew. The lettuce and tomatoes were probably picked a month before and have been sitting in a fridge at 33 degrees waiting to dissatisfy a hapless customer. The meat, even the Italian meats, are bland and reminiscent of the cheap deli meats that come prepackaged.
There was so much hype for this place when it opened, but on my most recent visit there was only one other person inside. They probably do well during lunch due to location near the hospitals, but Drew better hope the Saints open the bank to him in his new contract because I can't see Jimmy John's being a viable option for many more years because people catch on. Tasteless is tasteless.
BTW, their cookies are just as bad as their sandwiches.

Have you tried a roast beef sandwich from Jimmy John's?
If you had, you would be mad too.
That may be the worst sandwich ever made in the history of human history. It makes an Exxon half pack sandwich haute cuisine. It is an abomination to abominations! I believe every person is redeemable. But that sandwich assures me that not all food is redeemable. There is nothing you could do to make that thing worth eating. Nothing! Throw that sandwich into the pits from whence it came and start afresh with something else. I'm just getting started...

Its too funny that you think subway is better than jimmy johns.

Subway is bad.
Jimmy John's is revolting.
I brought home the leftovers of my roast beef sandwich, thinking that my dog would like it. Tossed it on the ground by him. My dog sniffed it and looked at me, telling me with his eyes, "I ain't eatin that." For reference, my dog eats his own feces.
