Jalapeño Strawberry Jam

Pulled a bunch of peppers out of the garden and my wife is making jalapeño strawberry jam. It tastes better than it sounds. She also made candied jalapeños and chow chow. The rest she is dehydrating for seasonings. Do not know what to do with the banana peppers except to pickle them.

Nice haul. How about you send me a jar of that jam and a Ziploc of the candied jalapenos. I'll give a full review on the board.

So I've been trying to grow Jalapenos and Banana Peppers for a couple years now, and it seems once summer hits the whole plant just frys up. Do you use fertilizer or any secrets to successfully produce peppers. And when do you plant and harvest?

I love fruit pepper jellies. I have some locally made fig pepper jelly coming tomorrow. I've never tasted it or seen it before. Looking forward to trying it.

are you planting them in a container? it sounds like the roots aren't going deep enough. Peppers are one of the easiest things to raise besides maybe rosemary and okra. Get them in a good spot, water when young, ignore.
