The sweet & spicy bacon burger is probably my favorite large chain fast food burger.
Are there hole in the wall/local joints that make a better burger for the same price? Sure. But I'll take Whataburger's burgers over McD, BK, Checkers, In & Out, Wendy's, etc.
Their grilled chicken items aren't too shabby either. Their fried/breaded chicken is garbage. Fries are typical fast food fries, meaning they suck.

I like Whataburger ok, but it's overrated by Texans. The Sonic comparisons are pretty accurate.

Have you had take out from Chilis or Olive Garden yet? I would ease in to them first before going to Whataburger

I have literally only had it once for lunch or dinner. But the breakfasts are great. Honey butter chicken biscuits. Fresh pancakes made on a griddle as you wait. Breakfast bowl. Biscuits and gravy. All of it is really good.

Do the bacon cheese Whataburger with grilled jalapenos. Best FF burger for me.

I find all fast food hit or miss nowadays. To me it’s not worth trying it
