There may be a lot of reasons people go to SG, the excellent TexMex cuisine ain't one of them, unless that is all they have ever had.

My son-in-law always want to go there when he comes to town, I beg off, besides the meh food, it's noisy as hell, rug rats running around like a pack of wolves, to me it is a terrible dining venue.

I view this place like LaFonda's in Lafayette. Great spot to get a rita buzz on, then just order something serviceable on the menu to soak it all up.

This guy gets it. Every time I go I literally get the ground beef nachos with cheese beans and jalapenos. Cost like $8. Eat plenty of chips and salsa and spend the rest of your money on Margs. I usually get one Marg then switch to beer. Usually get out of there with a tab under $40 and I'm full and wasted

They still do the 32 ounce beers? Used to demolish those in college.
