Is there any canned tuna left that isn't sh*t?

Been about 4 years since I bought some, and bought some today and tonight I opened a can and it looked like it died 20 years ago. Not to mention the stench was ungodly as the tuna looked rotted.

Raincoast is pretty good, but you're looking at almost $6 a can

If anything, there's more of a selection of good tuna than ever before

Pay more.
The wild planet brand, sold at Costco and elsewhere, is a single solid chunk of fish, with minimal water. Also try the olive oil solid packed variety from the major brands.

Yes, Costco tuna is good. Just has a fresher, cleaner taste.

If you're buying cheap tuna, it's skipjack. If you want better buy albacore.

Don't buy the cans. The pouches are higher quality.

Whole Albacore in olive oil is usually the best tasting one. The Starkist Albacore in EVOO is good. They have a Spanish brand that is outstanding, but I’m blanking on the name but it comes in a yellow and green box.

I get the Safecatch brand at Costco and really enjoy it.
