I’m looking for a good recipe channel that the F&D Board follows/approves of. Basically a baw that cooks the staples with 30 years of good home cookin experience.
Thoughts?

There's a baw on youtube named Stalekracker who does cajun/creole but the focus is on wild game and fish. You asked for a baw, he's a baw.

I watch several food/cooking personalities on YT and Brian Lagerstrom, pound for pound, is the best I think.
Cooks relatable food, very good instruction to a home cook, episodes aren’t needlessly long and he’s very skilled as a narrator of the video.
Can’t go wrong with going down his extensive rabbit hole of prior vids

In a break from the Cajun sites, here are a couple:
Sip and Feast (Italian)
Pati Jinich (Mexican)
And there's always Jacques Pepin.

For Italian food I like these:
Vincenzo’s Plate (This one is for authentic Bolognese. It is outstanding.
I also like Italia Squisita (authentic Roman carbonara)
Also can’t go wrong with anything by Jacques Pepin.
