Is there a decent place to get an oyster poboy to go near the track?

Will be at fairgrounds all day today, but I’d rather hold off on eating in order to splurge on an oyster poboy after. I doubt my husband will be willing to travel too far out of the way, seeing as though he’ll be putting up with his in laws all day. Anything somewhat close by or on the way back to MS I can run in and pick up?

Parkway only does oysters on Monday and Wednesday. The garlic oyster poboy from liuzzas by the track is great.

Is the garlic oyster at Liuzza's by the Track batter-fried?
I am officially old nowadays, and batter fried anything, or almost anything, now gets me sick. :( And, it started with oysters. I can eat oysters any other way without trouble.
