Is there a better regular rotation beer from a La brewery than Great Raft Commotion APA?

It’s just kind of perfect to me. What’s better if not this?

Those have become a cliche. Commotion is not.

Other than Bud Light the Elder, Commotion is my go to beer. Mainly because it's more readily available, fresh, than any other hoppyish beer. But also because it's an enjoyable beer. Juicier would probably be my go to if it was as available here as Commotion.

Envie used to be my go to but has been tougher to find fresh in central MS recently

Juicy IPAs. I like them on occasion. They aren’t regular beers.

I love ghost. One of my favorites.
Bit commotion is one I can drink all day long without the heart burn

All so angrily downvoting.

I never reach for a Commotion. Its a good beer but just doesn't do it for me. If I want west coast I will grab SNPA and if I want haze I would grab Ghost or Jucifer. Its been a while so maybe I will revisit it.

Nah. They are basically a contrivance and have become a bit tired, in my view. That doesn’t make them not good. Ghost remains a great representation of the style - Juicefer is a decent one, but at the end of the day, there’s nothing at all really noteworthy about it within the style.
I won’t go so far as to call them a “fad”, but I still think a beer like Commotion would be one you could drink at any point and just say “damn, that’s a solid beer” and not part of a certain moment, which Ghost and Jucifer will always be.

What? They are a distinct style with distinct and innovative hopping techniques that have been around for 18 years and enjoyed widespread popularity for 10 years.

You are arguing in circles

So you do think its a fad.
I prefer a good west coast but haze is good too and not going anywhere. Its a style that is here to stay.

I was referencing Ghost then Jucifer. Did you get that? Do you think there’s anything particularly noteworthy about Jucifer within the style of Juicy IPAs?
What, if so?
I’m not suggesting it’s a bad beer. I’m just not sure there’s anything about it that stands out.

I agree with OP but I’m also a homer, so

Everybody else seems to have interpreted my OP as shitting on juicy IPAs. And it really wasn’t meant to be so. I just don’t think they’re the end all to be all I
of evaluating beers.
