Is it the same as the one in Destin?

It’s good, but no, not really.

Can’t duplicate 30A’s atmosphere in BR, so sorry, it’s not the same

Not concerned about it replicating anything. Just asking if the food is worth a shite

I always get a blackened fish off the specials board and it was as good in BR as it is on 30A. That’s one data point, but their lemon-leek sauce on their side item stir fry is damn good to me.

Thread I made last time I was at Stinky’s in Dune Allen.

Second image is the blackened dish...

I liked the food a lot when I ate there, but Yelp is reporting it closed down.

It will probably get shite on by the board, but I thought it was pretty good the one time I went.

The gumbo is excellent. The andouille they use is super smoky (in a good way). I asked the waitress about it and she said they make it and smoke it in house. I think she was full of shite, but either way, it was delicious.

Ah, I see that now. Oh well. In town for a few days and staying there so figured we might want to hit up for a meal.

What kind of savage calls Dune Allen or the Santa Rosa Beach area Destin? Destin?

IDK, if this had been prepared in BR it would be pretty damn close to the top of the seafood dishes available in the city.

Well above average food. Horrible location unless you’re staying at the hotel. But yes the food is really good

Is ‘here’ BR? It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Stinky’s in BR. They had a horrible band...and sat us right in front. We had to move tables it was so bad. I wanted to hate the whole setup, but my food was good.
