re: Is Chipotle the most overrated restaurant ever?

There is nothing healthy about Chipotle. They load up people on cheap carbs and have made thousands sick. The repeated outbreaks in their establishments are a sign of less than proper hygiene practices.
Eat there all you want but it is just silly to say they are a "healthy" alternative to any fast food restaurant.

Name a fast food restaurant that has made more people sick than Chipotle has.

Waiting for a better fast food chain option
Are you slow? Fast food isn't healthy. I've said it multiple times.

The entire problem with this thread is y’all debating how delicious or not a chain fast food restaurant is. That’s just not what chain fast food does.
A restaurants food shouldn’t be delicious?

You would think this thread was on the OT with this amount of ridiculousness
People are comparing a national fast food chain to local eateries. It’s mediocre by design! It has to appeal to as many people as possible
It’s like comparing Wendy’s to Atomic Burger
Or Bud Light to a local craft brewery
It’s not apples to apples. If you actually compare it to other national fast food chains I think it’s one of the best options if I’m in a jam and I need a quick lunch.

yes, tortillas and white rice are mostly empty carbs/calories, but they also have black beans and brown rice. Their food isn't deep fried and filled with trans fats and the like.
It's much better to get extra calories from guacamole than loading up on onion rings or French fries for example.
there's clearly a difference in healthiness and overall quality of chipotle compared to run of the mill fast food.

Why did you think you needed to type all of that out? Everyone here knows how to make a burrito

You can buy all the ingredients and make burritos/burrito bowls yourself at home for a fraction of the price
All that shite you listed after this would cost like $25

No shite? Brown rice and beans is healthier than a super sized Big Mac meal? Hmmm, who would have thunk it?

Yes
You can buy all the ingredients and make burritos/burrito bowls yourself at home for a fraction of the price
Buy a pack of big burrito tortillas, or if you really want to you can make your own with some flour
Buy a bag of rice, and lime juice/cilantro if you want to season it like Chipotle does
Buy a can of black beans
Buy a few pounds of chicken breast or skirt steak and season it with cumin, paparika, chile powder, cayenne, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder; then grill it
Buy some jarred salsa, or make your own if you want
If you want guac, you can buy it at the store, or make your own with avacados, lime juice, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, and garlic
If you want queso, you can buy it jarred, but its really easy to make your own with American Cheese(from the deli, not Kraft Singles style slices) and/or Oaxcan cheese, diced jalapenos, and half and half or milk
Then of course buy sour cream, cheese to shred, etc.
That's all the ingredients you need.
