Is Chimes as hard to get into on Friday nights as it is on game days?

To clarify, I'm talking about Friday nights before a home game.

Not as busy as game day, no, but unless you're showing up at 4pm, you're not gonna waltz right up and get a table.

If you go at 6 with a party of four, I would expect an hour wait. Which isnt bad with their tap list and bar

I would still be expecting an hour, but you will likely get in sooner

It will be packed, but they do a good job of turning tables.

Best bet is to grab scope out a bar table. They are first come first served open seating.

Chimes is hard to get into any night. I've never gone there on a weeknight, weekend, lunch, or anytime when school was in session and not had to wait for a table. Thankfully, the food there is typically worth the wait, especially if one is lucky enough to stumble upon a rare open spot at the bar.

Don’t go on gameday. Definitely go Friday even if it’s an hour or so wait. You’ll waste your whole gameday away waiting for a table. It sucks.
