Is BJ's Poor Boys & Plate Lunches in Broussard good?

In the area and thinking about stopping there for lunch this afternoon. I'm told there is some sort of connection to Old Tyme, maybe a former employee or something like that? Any truth to that?

Same owner. Its solid. Poboy is pretty much identical to Old Tyme. Other food I have had there is good too.

anyone that calls a po boy a poor boy isn't getting my business. I dont know why that wording irritates me, but it does, and i'm not eating a fricking poor boy.

I went. Got the shrimp POOR boy and it was delicious. I’ll be returning.
