That's where they wanted to go.

In all fairness, Times Square can be very intimidating to newcomers and young people that aren't sure where to go.

I completely sympathize with the situation and hope they enjoy themselves in the City. Have a fun time.

Take them to Chelsea Market on 9th Ave between 15th and 16th if you want to check out a food mall.. Then go for a walk on the High Line.

I was scanning the thread to see if this had been posted yet.

ETA: On one of the podcasts I was listening to the other day they were debating which was worst: Subway, Sbarro, or Olive Garden. It was pretty funny.

You need to take them out to eat more.

COMPLETELY agree.

Lots of options, many of them very good, the kids will love it.

Funny thing is, I have NEVER taken them to Olive Garden. They've been one time, and that was with friends...

They don't like to go out to eat...

Ray's pizza. There's one about a block up on both 47th and Broadway. By no means gourmet, but you said grab and go, and it's so good!

The halal cart across from the Hilton hotel is great. I just googled them and apparently they have franchises/other locations now. Hopefully the quality is still consistent. Great food.

There is Korean BBQ down 32nd or 33rd street (can't remember the exact street) not too far from Times Square which is solid as well.

Probably be back in that area on Monday. I will organize 'em a little better time.

Halal Guys looked good, but damn the line was long.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I didn't give enough !was time, and most of the suggestions came after we had eaten.
