If by garnish you mean I put a squeeze of lemon or lime in my rum and coke, then yes, I garnish since I don't like the overpowering sweetness of coke and the citrus takes the edge off.

Technically, if the dog is home, you’re not drinking alone.

If drinking a Martini, 2-3 olives, but usually not garnish anything else I drink...

Rarely.

When I'm drinking alone, my priorities are modified. Sometimes I'll want an old fashioned but will just toss a heavy syrup luxardo in some rye and do a drive by on some bitters. No ice, no simple syrup. Profit.

If I'm trying out a new cocktail I'll do it right.

It's not alcoholism if there's a garnish.

I’m never alone at the house. My proclivity to procreate means someone is almost always here. And the rare occasion where none of the kids are and it is just the wife and I, we have other plans than cocktails. Well, I guess it could be considered tail.

But to answer the question, I followed a recipe here a few years back on bourbon soaked cherries and I always make a yuge batch each summer when they’re in season to last me to the next year. I’ll toss one or two in with my bourbon and mixer of choice.

No. It’s bourbon and water or bourbon rocks

I’m too lazy to garnish

My “go to” is an original Daiquiri Cocktail. I use fresh-squeezed lime and sugar the rim lightly, but I do not garnish with a lime wedge.
