could they be charbroiled from ACME? Talk about eating till you were sick... I love those things!

That would be too rich. Raw is the only way to go for an eating contest. Try Drago's in Fat City for much better Char-Broiled Opie.

Doesn't make a difference to me... I'd participate. The question is, would it be how MUCH the person could eat, or how FAST they could eat a particular amount?

It needs to be something everyone agrees on. I liked the raw oyster idea, but I also understand that some people don't like them. Maybe we could go to Doe's and do the challenge with some big-arse steaks...

+1 raw oysters...but I'm not as anal about where they come from as there are a lot of places that have great oysters. I've been hitting Dockside for 35 cent oysters and they've been fantastic. I also got some great ones at Camelia Cafe in Abita a few weeks ago.

speaking of the Drago's vs ACME debate, i went the ACME in the quarter on sunday. i got the peacemaker, which was extremely dissapointing. very small shrimp, fried hard, and a couple of oysters. the one i got in BR was flowing with seafood. however, their charbroiled oysters were incredible. really big and plump and tasted fantastic. i've had them at Drago's and these were very much up to par

real chicken or chicken fingers? if it's real chicken i would compete if we measure by weight, not pieces.

I would also give oysters a shot.

not sure about corn dogs.

would be a 10 minute contest? 12 minutes?
