I drank a lot of Abita with Mickey's for my poorest college years. Out of BMC I would fall in the Miller Lite group.

Sadly, in college I drank Miller Light(pre-vortex) regularly
I can't cast the first stone. High Life was my college beer of choice.

No one cares about the shape of the bottle as long as the beer tastes good imo
So, you're saying no one cares about Miller.

well bourbon & 7 for me during college. wasn't really a beer drinker until I started my Chimes around the world. tailgate beer was Abita or PBR.

You look like the PBR type.

Everything is a marketing ploy.
Who cares that much?

well considering that MillerCoors' underlying net income is like $1.2 billion I'm sure there's a lot of people that care.

R2R and I battled with PBR once. It made for an epic walk to Tiger Stadium.

each downed 17 cans
took out a friend next to the amphitheater pre game
passed out in the stands during 3rd quarter
annihilated a styrofoam ice chest post game

Or bud light or coors light or any of the rest of domestic swill.
If I have to drink one of the "three" Miller is it.

Actually, the vortex bottle was one of the "smarter" marketing ploys by BMC.
The "vortex" gave more structural integrity to the glass, enabling them to use a little less material. In the beer industry where margins are thin, any little bit helps.
I am sure some of you noticed that the necks were a little thinner than usual if you smashed them

Miller lite is an inferior product that relies on marketing ploys. Like the vortex neck.
Same with Coors and their vented beer cans.
And bud light with their bottles you could scribble on

he concept was absolute bullshite in the first place and the vortex neck doesn't do a damned thing. Obviously a marketing ploy.
