I'm trying to get into the habit of grilling a bunch of chicken on Sunday afternoon / night and using that all week for lunch.

I have got in the habit of eating lots of burritos with low carb wraps. I can brown a half pound of lean ground beef or turkey in literally a couple of minutes before work in the morning and bring to work in a tupperware container. I keep salsa, jalapenos, shredded cheese and sour cream in the fridge at work.

Canned chicken is fricking heinous. Horrible texture, salty as frick, and filled with all kinds of preservatives. I always wondered who bought that shite(same people that frequent Applebee's/tgi Fridays)

It is a matter of convenience. It is 2 bucks for a large can that I can crack open in a few seconds if I am in a hurry.

i never said canned chicken was unhealthy, per se. It's just not clean, real food. If that makes me a douche, so be it. Enjoy your canned chicken. Im going to continuing to reap the nutritional benefits of making my own
