Im a Bota Box Cabernet drinker.
My wife is a fan of the Bota Box brand in Chardonnay. She actually prefers Black Box, but it is often $5 or more per box than the Bota. Plus, Costco handles the Bota Box brand and not Black Box.

'm going to try the merlot next. I've read some good things about it
I've had the Merlot and Cabernet/Sauvignon in several different wine brands and if I'm drinking wine, it's going to be some type of red wine, and room temperature unlike many Chardonnay drinkers who like it chilled.
If in the mood for a red wine, it's going to be B&G, Barefoot or Kendal Jackson most of the time, with the Kendal Jackson being a bit more in price than the other two.

Dark Horse cab
My daily table wine as well. Total Wine has it for $6.40. Definitely drinks more as a 10-12 dollar wine than most other 6-7 dollar wines.
It’s much bolder of a cab, deep flavor than other cheap cabs.

How was your hangover?

I feel like Barefoot makes the best wine out there for under $15. Well balanced and consistent.

My favorite cheap wine is the boxed Kirkland Cabernet. It's actually pretty good.

I like not realizing it's an old thread, doing my usual auto downvote for Paul Allen, and seeing where I already did 5 years ago. Feels goodman

I don't drink a lot of wine but have had Barefoot and a few of the B & G varieties and find them to be damn good for the price.
I'm in no way a wine connoisseur and probably couldn't taste much difference between a $10 bottle of wine as opposed to a $50 bottle so take that into account.

Pay $4.00 more and get Bogle. Much higher quality.

Bogle is the GOAT cheap wine. Essential Red, Cab, Petit Sirah cannot be beat.

Also, there are really great, inexpensive reds from Spain and Chile.

Black Box
I am a Cabernet drinker. Was a go-to until I got 3 bad boxes in a row. Full of sediment & foul taste a couple of years back. I did let them know the lot #'s and they did offer to rectify it, which was kind of them, but it kind of put a "bad taste in my mouth".
I usually go with Bota, Franzia
