Serious question. Why not? I have seen y'all blast this idea a couple of times. I'm from the other side of the southeast and do low coutry boils. I sprinkle seasoning on outside of shrimp after laying it out.
I get the soak with crawfish which gets alot of the flavor but cooking shrimp just a couple of minutes, it doesn't get any flavor from the water.
