I miss drinking Budweiser.

Before you downvote me - hear me out.
Growing up, my dad was a Budweiser man. So were my uncles and grandfather. My first beer was a can of Budweiser with those guys on a fishing trip when I was 14.
I drank Budweiser in high school and college (even though it was more expensive than the cheap ones).
I never liked Bud Light so not drinking it was never an issue.
But, after watching the video with that weird girl talking down to me as “fratty and out of touch” - I stopped drinking Budweiser. My dad and uncle did the same.
I have actually enjoyed trying new beers and the process has been satisfying.
However, I was working in the yard this weekend - 100 degree heat. When I came inside, I wanted the familiar taste of Budweiser.
Is there any beer that tastes very similar to it?
I know I am going to get the usual comments of “warm piss”. Etc.
But seriously, my Dad and uncle are not going back and I am not going back either. We can’t support someone who hates who we are.
Advice?

In your instance there can be no insecurities because there is no manhood. You have to get through your adolescence first

How big of baws you baws are? Can’t imagine how large and in charge people who exclusively drink Bud heavies are

You likely support lots of people who hate who you are. You simply need to decide whether knowing they hate you interferes with your enjoyment of the product to the point that you no longer consume it. If not, drink your beer. If so, happily find a new one. It’s a beer; it’s not life or death.

How does not hating someone else equate to hating you? The two things can exist together. There can be respect for a trans-person, a gay person, a bi-person AND respect for you. It's not like it is a pizza and there are only so many slices to go around. I cannot speak to Bud-Light, but I am pretty sure you and I would have things in common, could enjoy conversations, and get along pretty well. I feel the same way about most of the alphabet folks. I just do not paint people with a broad brush.
Dude....just drink what you want to drink and stop letting other people make decisions for you.

Drink what you want. Real baws don’t sit around waiting for someone to tell them what to be triggered by or not.
I walked down a target isle with a 6 pack of Bud Light yesterday. Guarantee you 99% of people on this site wouldn’t have said a damn word.

Here's the great thing about being a grown arse adult- you can make your own decisions and do whatever you want.
If you crave the taste of budweiser, and you have fond familiar memories of budweiser, and you really truly have a hankering for a budweiser...but withhold because 1) taht $8 you would've spent on a 6er is really doing your part for the boycott, and/or 2) you want to tell all the anonymous e-strangers on this board that you're anti-budweiser, then you don't deserve one anyway.

When a VP executive goes on a podcast and says it fratty and out of touch and in decline, etc.
That is different. Her facial expression and attitude were very arrogant and I think if we met - she would hate me.
Now, as others have said, every company may feel the same way but they are not saying it out loud.
I don’t care about the trans stuff at all - other than them trying to get to children. Beer is not for kids so that issue is dead to me in regard to beer.

This^^^^ we all like get affirmation and pats on the back from our peer groups, it's human nature.
But if you like Bud and want to drink Bud drink it man, if the issues this elicited are dear to your heart there are other ways and better ways to face those.
