Had Zaxby's today for the first time. It was so much better than Cane's is today. Really reminded me how good Cane's used to be before Todd opened his 2nd store.
Zaxby's has better flavored chicken, better fries, better toast. Cane's has better sauce and better sweet tea. Cane's chicken is terrible. I honestly don't see how anyone could like it.

What a ridiculous opinion. Zaxby's was unimpressive the several times I've had it in different SEC towns. I do enjoy the shakes etc, but the actual food is worse than Cane's IMO. It's not some monumental difference or anything, but Cane's is better.

I prefer Zaxbys. The fries and toast are hit or miss at both but the chicken has been consistently better at zaxbys for me. If you prefer buffalo chicken it's really a no brainer.

I don't care for buffalo, so yea this influences my opinion as well.
Like I said, the difference between the two on common menu items is not very great. All these guys saying one is shite while the other is so much better is pretty funny.

I think the fries are typically better at Canes. I have had shite toast from both on multiple occasions.

Zaxby's? meh. rather cook some chicken at home. I'll get it quicker, it'll taste better, and the atmosphere is much nicer.

It definitely depends on location, the one in Oxford is OK. But I went home to Alpharetta and ate at the one there and was absolutely blown away by how much better it was.
