Over the past few months, this new farmers market has morphed into a monster with tons of variety and vendors.

I went Saturday to pick up some stocking stuffer gifts, and while it had been a few weeks since I had last gone, I was surprised at the amount of new vendors on site.

The most welcoming were booths selling Korean dishes, Indian vegetarian dishes, and Vietnamese sweet and savory pastries. Couple that with several local artists selling all kinds of things ranging from homemade soaps, jewelry, art, etc.

Some items I bought included:
- coconut yogurt
- kimchi (a giant jar of the stuff for $10)
- tons of fresh veggies
- oyster and lions mane mushrooms
- several small gifts for my wife to put in her stocking; like bath bombs, tea, jarred preserves, etc
- several packs of homemade sausage, which is becoming a staple for us because it's delicious
- homemade BBQ rub

I sampled Korean pork belly and a seafood omelet. Both delicious. And sampled this Vietnamese stuffed cheese bread that was insanely good.

Anyway, I highly recommend going and checking this place out. It is starting to become a weekend staple and is a very enjoyable shopping experience while also supporting local.

It’s a great place for sure. Hope you enjoy it.

Also not sure how my post has 3 downvotes already, but I guess some OT overlap is on the Food board this morning

I had no idea this existed. The Oasis, like the place on Burbank? Wow.

It’s the former Harb’s Oasis on Coursey. Opens at 9:00 AM on Saturday and I think they are trying to make it work on other days as well, but Saturday is the main day.

I used to go to the farmer’s market downtown but the last few times I’ve gone the vendors have been very sparse.
