I have a big slab of tuna, should I cut it in half ?

its about 2.5 inches thick... was gonna sear it on the grill in a cast iron

should i cut it in half ?

what kind of quality? Sushi grade?

I like to cut it into large serving size cubes, thick.

pretty much like this for cooking technique....but you can use a hot pan instead. I just do peanut oil, seeds, salt and pepper.
