That BS is as faux hyper feminine as your average drag queen. Pink drinks and a wall o'boobs...yeah, that's what I want out of a coffee shop.

Meanwhile, go to Coffee Science on Broad if you want real coffee without neon, boobs, or LA style ridiculosity.

Not that I am going in there but I rarely carry cash.

But, seems very odd to not take cash, usually the other way around.

Went Saturday.

Looks like a sorority exploded in there.

I was given a menu and a separate list. Thought it contained the ingredients of the drinks. Instead it was the 'benefits' of the drinks.

A lot of fine pussy walking around though.

It's a coffee shop on a stretch on Magazine with no coffee shop. Coffee shops are nothing but profit.

Petite Rouge thrives there for that reason.

Coffee wasn't bad, was pricey. Will probably go back because of lack of options in the area. Will last as long as their desire to run a coffee shop lasts.

Less chance of theft from employees
Less trips to deposit money
Easier control on 'cash flow'
Less risk to employees handling cash

I get the point of not limiting options to pay, but there are advantages.

Meil brewery does the same.

Haven't been inconvenienced by it yet, but I think most places like this aren't going to cater to customers that live cash only.

Also, Guy's Poboys started accepting credit recently.

This just screams New Orleans to me.

Every coffee drinker I know doesn’t like coffee places with bells and whistles. Just give me a cup of Joe and take my cash. And let’s have as little discussion as possible while you make my coffee.

The five dollar cookie!!!!!!!

I won’t be checking in to this place and the owners are probably happy about that.

Ordered one. Didn't have one.

Had a five dollar brownie instead. It was super rich and fudgy. Covered in pink sprinkles and pearls.

The idea could entirely work for the time being, but they didn’t go very over the top with it. Similar ideas in other cities are x100 this. Absurd levels of “Instagram”. This is no more interesting than Auction House Market, Bar Marilou, Pontchartrain, etc

(As far as photo ops)

I’ve only been to one of these, and that was to catch a drink at the bar upstairs. I would never give these places the free advertisement they seek.

Little Wayne is a worthless drug addict who can’t rhyme well. I don’t get the hype.
