I fueled up (4) 5 gallon cans of non ethanol gas for the generators. Have natural gas cooktop in outdoor kitchen and a quick connect for boiling rig.
Stocked up on beer, a case of water, milk, and capri suns (already had tequila and vodka).
Bought a gallon of cooking oil, some chicken fry, bag of potatoes, and got a freezer full of shrimp and backstrap to fry.
Bought some rice, onions, and have bell peppers in the garden and chicken and sausage in the freezer for gumbo.
Bought some fresh mushrooms and have a few of those onions if needed to combine with some shrimp from the freezer to do a little boil.
I like to watch it rain and don't have much threat of flooding,so I'm not so worried about being in a bind. I'd just rather not have to get out in the weather and I wanna have the supplies to cook some good stuff.
Hate to call it a hurricane party but that's basically how I treat it.
Hope everyone fares out ok with no flooding or damages.

If you get some bourbon, I’ll come visit.

I’m getting ready to make chicken gumbo. Then I might make chili.
Got some pizza dough rising in the fridge.
