How long is brisket good for?

I smoked a brisket two weeks ago. With the leftovers, I sliced it into servings and vacuum sealed. I put it into the fridge thinking I would give some away to the family but didn’t get a chance to. Anyway, been out of town for the past week and forgot to put them into the freezer.
What are the thoughts here on spoilage? How long are we thinking it’s good in the refrigerator?

To be safe, I’d go with 5 days not vacuumed, 7 days vacuumed. Without a doubt, not 2 weeks.

I'm pretty cavalier when it comes to pushing the envelope on what chances I'll take with what I eat, but two weeks is too much for me

Do not give people 2 week old brisket

My experience has been that food starts to go off after 5 days in the fridge.

two weeks
Uh, thats how long it takes to flatten a curve. Has nothing to do with leftover brisket.

7 days, maybe 8 or 9 if it passes the smell test, but not 14, even if it is vacuum packed
